Our Programs
Permanent ClinicFor remote communities with a high number of disabled children that do not have access to medical centres, we aim to set up permanent clinics. Our model is to partner with local schools and community organisations who have buildings and facilities that we can utilise in order to reduce the cost of operating the clinic.
Permanent clinics are staffed by a range of health professionals including physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Our model for these clinics is that they are partially funded by the parents seeking medical treatments.
The clinic includes a training centre, assessment room and treatment room catering for nutritional needs, disability assessment and therapy.
Occasionally we would run specialist clinics with ENT and orthopaedics specialists.
We also look to partner with local government services and the clinics can act as a referral to local government clinics.
We have currently identified one location that would benefit from a permanent clinic and are actively fundraising to establish it.
